You can withdraw PF amount for:
Retirement ( ನಿವೃತ್ತಿ )
Medical emergency (ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ತುರ್ತು ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ)
Marriage / Education (ಮದುವೆ / ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ)
Home purchase or loan repayment (ಮನೆ ಖರೀದಿ / ಸಾಲ ತೀರಿಸುವುದು)
📌 How to Apply:
1. Visit EPFO portal – https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in
2. Login with UAN + Password
3. Go to 👉 Online Services > Claim (Form-31, 19, 10C)
4. Fill the form and submit
🔹 2. PF Advance (ಆಗ್ರಹಿತ ಪಿಎಫ್ ಹಣವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು)
You can take partial PF in advance for:
Medical Treatment
Natural calamity
Lockdown reason
📌 How to Apply:
Same process as PF withdrawal using Form-31
🔹 3. PF Transfer (ಹಳೆಯ ಪಿಎಫ್ ಅನ್ನು ಹೊಸ ಖಾತೆಗೆ ವರ್ಗಾವಣೆ)
When you switch jobs, transfer your old PF account to the new one.
📌 Steps:
1. Login to EPFO portal
2. Go to 👉 Online Services > One Member One EPF Account (Transfer Request)
3. Enter old & new employer details
4. Submit request and get approval
🔹 4. UAN Activation (ಯುಎಎನ್ ಸಕ್ರಿಯಗೊಳಿಸು)
UAN (Universal Account Number) is required for all PF services.
📌 Activate here:
Click 👉 Activate UAN → Enter Aadhaar, DOB, mobile number → OTP → Set password
🔹 5. PF Balance Check (ಪಿಎಫ್ ಬ್ಯಾಲೆನ್ಸ್ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ)
📌 Methods:
Send SMS: EPFOHO UAN ENG to 7738299899
Missed Call: Give a missed call to 9966044425
Login to EPFO portal
Use UMANG App
🔹 6. KYC Update (ಪಿಎಫ್ ಕೆವೈಸಿ ಅಪ್ಡೇಟ್)
Link Aadhaar, PAN, and bank details with PF account for smooth transactions.
📌 How:
1. Login EPFO portal
2. Go to 👉 Manage > KYC
3. Update Aadhaar, PAN, Bank – Save & Submit
